Rob Hayes has been lead guitarist for Sister Shotgun since 2015. Sister Shotgun released the "Devour" EP in Febuary 2017, earning favourable reviews including an EP of the Month distinction in Ryan's Gig Guide UK. Sister Shotgun gig around the UK regularly and have just completed the UK Bullets and Claws Tour with Chasing Dragons. Sister Shotgun plays a unique mix of melodic heavy metal that is both catchy and musically interesting. Rob Hayes started playing guitar in 2000, and by 2004 he had released his first solo album, Done and Dusted, which was recorded entirely at home. He was presented an award for Outstanding Musical Achievement and Student of the Year by the late Beatles producer Sir George Martin CBE, while enrolled in the Access to Music Course for Artist Development at the British Academy of New Music London.He also became an Associate Member of Trinity College London. In 2005 he also won the Student of the Year award presented at BAFTA London by Simon Pitt of Rockschool, Edith Bowman (BBC Radio 1 DJ / presenter, and Feargal Sharkey. Rob will soon release a remastered version of Done and Dusted along with a new recording.
