Thomas Blug
Thomas Blug
Thomas Blug has been a sought-after artist in the German and international music scene for many years. In 1997 he was awarded "best German Rock-Pop guitarist" by Deutscher Rock Musik Verband. In 2004, celebrating the 50th birthday of the Stratocaster, Fender held a Europe-wide competition to find the “Strat King of Europe.” Of course, Thomas won the competition and still holds the “Strat King” title. During the past 20 years Thomas has performed with international greats like Percy Sledge and Bobby Kimball; German acts like Purple Schulz and actor / singer Uwe Ochsenknecht; and pop newcomers like No Angels and Tac, Toe (opening for Michael Jackson on his 2000 European tour).
